How is the score calculated?
Each of the ten questions scores 0, 4, 7, or 10 in the order listed (first option = 0). Your total is the sum, out of 100. Bands: Red 0–44, Yellow 45–74, Green 75–100.
How is the dollar estimate calculated?
The model uses a continuous leak percentage from your score (floor 0.5% at 100, up to 8% at 0), applied to annual food purchases, then shown as a range (high × 0.5 to high), rounded to the nearest $1,000. If you leave spend blank, we show the range per $100,000. Always “the model estimates” — never a guarantee.
